Happy yule festival to all of ye. I lit a candle for solstice on saturday morning, so i am embracing the wonders of other peoples' religions in say now: Happy Christmas, Hanukkah, Eid etc.
The german market closed today (shame), and have donated all remaining food and loose change to the homeless of the midlands, with all the left over sweets going to local children's charities. I think this is wonderful and truly worthy of a big hearty clap. If that isn't inspirational i don't know what is.
For sure inspirational is not what i would class the headteacher's attempt at an assembly on our last day of term, that's for sure. i don't know what went through his mind with:
"i understand that other people don't always believe this, but what's important to remember this christmas is that it's all about the baby"
utter rubbish if you ask me. especially seen as half of the school aren't christian. a little bit of education for you all- the original yuletide festival is pagan, not christian. i am not preaching against christianity, i respect it, i just hope that any of you out there can find it in your hearts to at least think about respecting others back.
enough ramble. i've done my christmas picture, rubbish as it may be, so i might not be around da for a little while (until our cosplay pics go up)
Anyways...
OTAKU GATHERING- 27th DECEMBER, Birmingham town centre (Centenary square by the ice rink) 13:00?
any narutard cosplayers will know that the londoners have loads of cosplay picnics throughout the year and have loads of fun, but those of us who can't get there just look through the pictures afterwards and pout.
we are starting one in the midlands, beginning with thursday, which is not just for cosplayers, but also for those who just generally want to dress japanese style and be a shameless otaku for a day.
There will be pocky gathering expeditions, possible games, maybe a wagamamas meal, but mainly just people meeting fun.
Confirmed coming so far:

learn the choco dance and we can do it at the meet up.^_^ i will do the tutorial soon i promise.
Just a reminder, here are my cosplay plans:
Dec 27th: Nana (very rough but still cool)
May expo sat: Soifon (bleach group cosplay. woot!)
May expo sun: Hinata ANBU (because i'm dying my hair blue-black and getting a fringe cut for soifon cosplay)
Tenten will be repeated at some point but i don't know when. maybe the next memorabilia convention.

Yeah, I'm going mad, and like most fangirls I am in the midst of a cockblocktober coma... in other words, I have been on tumblr for like... 3 days non stop.

I should and could be doing no end of other things, but I'm not. As tempted as I have been lately just to get on and make a gif/video of that mental sequence Kat got into my head yesterday while discussing how it could possibly come to be that every member of starkid are so fit.
She's like kryptonite to me... kryptonite that encourages tumbling...
No one is joining in my little tumblr festival tonight, so i'm on journal mode

Yeah, so today is going backwards and I need to let it out before it all bubbles up and eats me. Starting with a list of things that should have gone right:
-
- Started on a fairly good note, but I blame everything to follow on me not having breakfast today.
-
- Decided to make a cup of tea for my mother... until the spoon decided to bend funny against the cup. I now have one scolded and sprained finger.
-
- Decided to watch episode 8 of Ouran... until my internet crashed after one minute. I've given up.
-
- Decided to listen to k-pop... until my ipod decided that it doesn't like any more than 3 seconds of "can't nobody". I now can't
This is all
Going loopy
So, I've been really down lately, more than I have been in years. Magic kind of broke a little and once again I've managed to accidentally isolate myself from one of my closest friends and from family... well done self.
As a result I've rediscovered mysoju and dramacrazy... again. I've been in bed for almost a week now catching up on dramas, since it is now summer so all the shojo-type romance dramas are out in force... lame, I know but hardly the point.
The point is that something wonderful has happened, something that will ceratinly guarentee that I for one will be doing a grand total of not much time out of bed again for the rest of the
